This project emerged through a close engagement with the landscape surrounding Hollufgaard (Artist Residency), where nature became intertwined with experiences of bodily transformation and inner states. Working primarily with oil on paper and canvas, I explored the body as a porous and shifting landscape: vulnerable, fertile, and in continuous dialogue with its surroundings.
During this period, my own experience of pregnancy became central to the work. The pregnant body appeared not only as a physical condition, but as a landscape in itself: a site of growth, transition, fragility, and transformation. Figures, plants, and animals move into one another, dissolving the boundaries between human and environment.
The works culminated in the exhibition Syner og samklang (“Visions and Resonance”), created in collaboration with Emil Salto and presented in their project space. en fane på hjemmeside
